Exciting!

Ladies and Gents! My sweet friend Katy (sunnyskiies) has only two weeks left on her missions trip to Africa! I’m praying for the remainder of her journey that God continues to use her and her team!

Not only am I excited for her continued work, but her arrival back in the States! She’ll be shooting a wedding near where I live in June and I am extremely hopeful and excited to meet her!!

Pray for her safety and the people she is reaching!

xoxo Meg

getting these rascals out for recess before naptime — and they started their own game of “the quiet game” at lunch (genius!).
it’s a good day!
my friend knows me well — she sent me this & said she thought of me!
what a true statement —

well, I finished the half ten minutes faster than the one in December — BUT I managed trip and fall at the finish line, passed out and was rushed to local hospital, they got vitals under control and I’m home now and resting, but feet are extremely sore and I’m needing some rest. Hope your Saturday is a little better than mine!

Upon talking to some of you, I have decided to keep the ask option, however remove anonymous for now.

Let’s be courageous, people, and stop hiding behind a grey face {even though I know who some of you are because of my friend google analytics! ;) }

I don’t bite and don’t think I am mean {correct me if I am wrong}, and I think I am pretty open minded and try to be respectful when responding —  but for now, message me through your blog or email me {bloom.meg.l@gmail.com}

Have a lovely night sweet friends,

Meg

for the anonymous who asked what I look like and what I’m up to, today —
an extremely slow start to the day, 2 cups of coffee in, quiet time accomplished and I’m working up the motivation to go to local running store to ask them a few questions and run some other errands — I hope your morning has been more productive than mine! :)

Before the mountains were brought forth,or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Psalm 90:2 {ESV}

Conversations with Kay (this lady: resolutewoman) are much appreciated (even if they’re just a quick catch up) — super jealous of her adventures the past weeks and so happy to hear what God is doing in her travels — He is so good. Can’t wait to hear all about it this weekend —

sometimes I get my nails done & buy new shirts and cardigans — celebrating last day of classes!
loving the suggested app from Olivia! — check out “a beautiful mess” and it costs next to nothing!
sometimes you just gotta run the stresses of the day out — four miles did the trick, tonight.
My Dearest Friends,

I am writing to let you know that within 36 hours I will be shutting my “ask” box down for an undisclosed amount of time. As much as I appreciate the sweet words and the encouragement, as well as the challenge of some of your questions regarding faith, sexuality, God, the gospel, etc. — it is quite exhausting and I need a break, simply. Again, it’s not that I don’t appreciate the messages, but I need to focus on some things coming up and preparing for the summer position that I will be starting June 2.

Along with this tweak, I will also be stepping back a bit from blogging. Again, it’s a timing thing and though I love the Tumblr app on my phone (where I do the most reblogging from) I need this small break.

If any of you need to get ahold of me, feel free to email me or message me for FB info. (I will only hand that out to those whom I know well), and if we communicate regularly (you know who you are) ask for my cell number and I can message that, like I have for a handful of friends, here.

I hope you understand and I hope once I get back into the swing of things I will be back here as normal! Thank you, friends!

-Meg

another good day in the books, another thunder storm putting me to sleep —

Open my ears & soften my heart, Lord //

Today, I stand among hundreds women — young and old — at a women’s conference. I’m ready to be spoken to, but more so ready to listen

my eyes are heavy, my lungs filled with a days worth of fresh air, my heart is content (beyond my own belief — oh, what a week it’s been on this young heart), and tonight, I’ll fall asleep to the steady downpour and rolling thunder —
