It becomes clear: Jesus is the hero of God’s story. He is also the way you and I get a sweet part in the story. Without Jesus’s death, burial, resurrection, and ascension from where he intercedes in our behalf, we are left to live a life marred by sin, distorting the God of the story as we imagine him.
