those nights where you ride home with the windows down, the warm night air blows through your hair and you could care less that it’s blowing about. the nights where your iPod plays the soundtrack to your life, as of late, in perfect rhythm. the nights where you come home and realize you’re loved more than you could ever grasp. the nights where you don’t want to fall asleep because, my god, things could change in a split second, and you don’t want that. and nights where you’re reminded of god’s infinite grace because He’s like that — He can flaunt His beautiful, unchanging love in your face. it’s simple and i’m okay with that, for now.
